Andrea Guendelman is the Co-Founder and CEO of Speak_. Speak_ is a diverse community of GenZ tech talent, created to deliver the hiring experience of the future, today. The hiring process is a terrible experience for job candidates. They want personalized feedback, values alignment, and a clear path to getting the job. But what they experience is a hunger games-like process plagued with high funnel drop-off, low interview-to-offer ratios, and low offer-to-acceptance ratios. This broken process impacts underrepresented talent the most. Speak_ has reimagined the candidate experience for GenZ, a generational cohort that values loyalty and community. Speak_ brings the best features of college to job interviews, including accelerated learning and the social connection that glues it together. This new experience, when linked to an employer, results in loyalty and better hiring outcomes. Customers like Amazon, GoDaddy, Roblox, Robinhood, Remitly, and others use Speak_ to increase their funnel conversion rates, interview-to-offer ratios, and diversity. The company is raising $2.5M in Seed-stage funding to complete the tech product and scale the sales team and operations. Contact Andrea at andrea@speak.careers.com.
Delia Passi is the Founder of MyCabinet, a B2B2C software that empowers caregivers to manage the health of their loved ones. Delia experienced caregiver challenges firsthand when her mother, who lives hundreds of miles away, had two heart attacks due to medication adherence. What if Delia had the ability to monitor her from afar? Chronic conditions account for 90% of healthcare costs in the US. These costs include hospital readmissions, averaging 17% after 1 month and 49% after 1 year, largely due to patient noncompliance. Studies have shown that caregiver support can result in a 25% reduction in hospital readmission. MyCabinet is the virtual family health hub for caregivers and patients, closing the gap on medication compliance and RPM (remote patient monitoring) adherence. MyCabinet decreases physician and insurance (payer) burden by reducing preventable hospitalizations and care coordinator costs by rewarding the family caregiver to provide regular monitoring. In short we replace the care coordinator with a trusted caregiver. Click HERE for the investor deck. Contact Delia at dpassi@mycabinet.com.
Jay Newton-Small is the Founder and CEO of MemoryWell, a HealthTech company solving the $59B problem of churn in Medicare Advantage plans. Current solutions are digital and not very effective for a population whose average age is 74-years-old. MemoryWell is a tech-enabled patient engagement platform that uses a human-to-human approach to engage seniors to reduce churn, while collecting unique and important social determinants of health data. The company also licenses its proprietary software and trains customers to improve patient outreach. MemoryWell grew out of Jay's experience as caregiver for her father, who had Alzheimer's. When she moved him into a senior community, she was asked to fill out a long questionnaire about his life. Instead, she wrote his story for his caregivers. Seeing the impact her story had on her father's experience influenced Jay to transition from her role as the Washington correspondent for TIME to launch MemoryWell. Contact Jay at jay.newton-small@memorywell.com.

Letter From the Editor
Midterm elections on November 8 will decide representation and power in Congress. Your vote counts. Collectively, our voices are significant.
In her book Broad Influence, Jay Newton-Small describes how women have to reach critical mass before things change: “Turns out, women don't need parity to change the culture and influence outcomes. My own experience demonstrated that while parity was the ideal, if women reached more than 20 percent of a group, life improved dramatically for us.” Read more about Jay and her book in the Capsule Book Collection section.
